It was 1996. Scott was working with Danny Goldman from Danny Goldman casting. They were working on a project having nothing to do with entertainment when Danny suggested that Scott read an audition for a lead spot on a national Western Union voice over commercial. Danny said Scott\u2019s voice would be perfect for the commercial. Scott had done dozens of \u201con camera\u201d commercials over the years, but he knew nothing about the voice over business. Going with Danny\u2019s advice, Scott auditioned and booked the job. Years later, after learning every aspect of the voice over business, following the recording of multiple demos and having a considerable amount of representation, Scott finally landed a great agent; and subsequent to being told \u201cno\u201d after auditions, as a result of being the new kid on the block, the bookings just started happening\u2026and they were big jobs, including many national and international campaigns. Scott loves the voice over business, the people in this business, as well as the craft itself. He always believed that if you are really good, you will go far, and it will be effortless, and fun. Going into all of those studios, meeting with the many different people from all kinds of ad agencies, working with producers and directors, and reading copy perfectly so everyone involved is completely happy with the end result, are just some of the treasured parts of this business.
